Description

Sarah A. Weeks (1875-1962) wrote on the back of this postcard "Christmas decorations -- Millinery Dept back of counter, P Office opposite side--"

Employees Sarah A. Weeks and Marion Allyn (1890-1986) were at the millinery counter, and proprietor Horace T. Weeks (1870-1928) was at the post office counter. Horace was postmaster here from 1905-1914.

From left to right, note the Broad Sides No. 03 stove; a line of linens displayed above the millinery counter, a banner of Santas hung from the ceiling; crepe paper streamers, a carousel display of greeting cards; and some notices tacked to the front of a counter.
