Description

An early stereo view card looking south out Court Street from Main Street showed the J. A. Millar and the S. Cary building on the right side. On the left foreground is the French building which burned three times and was rebuilt each time. The Aroostook Pioneer building was the tall building toward the back on the left and produced Houlton's first newspaper.

The buildings on the left were destroyed in the fire of 1880.
