School records indicate that the Lincoln Academy Class of 1907 included class members Zoa Blanchard, Frank Burns, Harold Castner, Virginia Davis, Henry Dodge, Phillip Donnell, Amy Holt, Herbert Jones, Loantha Jones, Raymond Kennedy, Edward Kent, Cora Mains, Daniel Mason, F. Roger Miller, Emily Nichols, William Oliver, Alvin Piper, Etheridge Roy, Elsworth Sidelinger, Elsie Soule, Everett Vannah, Marion Wiswell, Grace York, and Finis Opus Coronat. However the specific identities of individuals in the photo are unknown.

Lincoln Academy in Newcastle was chartered in 1801 by the General Court of Massachusetts 'for the purpose of promoting Piety, Religion, and Morality' and is the fourth oldest secondary school in Maine that is still in existence as of 2022.
