Description

School records indicate that the Lincoln Academy Class of 1906 included class members A. Louise Barker, William Coburn, Celia Etheridge, Ethel Hanna, Myrtle Leighton, Beulah Shannon, and Ruth Varney. However, the specific identities of the students in the photograph are unknown. The class motto was "Ultima Signa".

Lincoln Academy in Newcastle was chartered in 1801 by the General Court of Massachusetts 'for the purpose of promoting Piety, Religion, and Morality' and is the fourth oldest secondary school in Maine that is still in existence as of 2022.
