Loom Picker Company order, Biddeford, 1896

Description

The Loom Picker Company was a small manufacturer of products used in textile manufacturing. A postcard acknowledging the order placed by the Cabot Manufacturing Company of Brunswick on February 10, 1896 stated: "Dear Sir: We are in receipt of your esteemed order of 10th for harness and will give it best attention. Yours truly, H. P. Garland, Treas."

The Loom Picker Company manufactured parts and tools used in textile manufacture, including loom pickers, loom reeds, loom harnesses, duck lug straps, picker leather and hickory picker sticks. The company was located in Biddeford and Saco.
