Description

9 Bennet Street is the tax record for single-family house in Bridgton. The ownership at the time of the survey, around 1938, is not entirely clear. The original typed entry read "Andrews Fund/ School House Frank Webb, Trustee."

The Andrews Fund was established to provide assistance to the "worthy poor." The tax card was later updated to reflect ownership by Ernest D. Moynihan. The card references a deed dated 1931. This is not the date of the photograph. The address given is as of the date of the photograph and has probably changed.
