Lovell Village district school no. 7

Contributed by Lovell Historical Society

Description

The original Lovell Village School built by Ammi Cutter. One of several brick buildings in the Village. Bricks were most likely made within sight of the building, as there were at least two brickyards in the area. This building became privately owned c. 1921 when the three room Annie Heald School was built across from the Village Store. It was used as a Garage, and then became a private residence. Joan Alpert operated an antique shop there for a season.
