Description

Completed in 1865, the Kimball Block was the largest commercial building in Bethel for many years.

Representing the town's role as a mercantile hub for smaller, surrounding communities, the building contained a variety of business establishments in 1870, including a law office, a boot and shoe manufacturer, and the village post office.
