Description
This postcard is one of several created throughout the early 20th century depicting Lithgow Public Library.
The Library is named for Llewellyn Lithgow, who willed $20,000 to the city of Augusta to build a public library. Andrew Carnegie also contributed $9,000 toward the construction costs. Lithgow Library still serves Augusta and surrounding communities.
