7.3 - Lobster Roll!
Objective: Student will collect data by playing a game that illustrates the delicate ecological balance between fishing, fishing regulations, and fish populations. They will graph and analyze the data, and be able to explain how economic decisions can affect the environment.

7.4 - You Be the Census Taker
Objective: Students will interpret information from an excerpt of the 1870 U.S. Census and compare that data to economic data they collect about local businesses in their own community. They will then evaluate how closely linked their community's economy is to Maine's natural resources economy today.
