Description

A. E Mooers raised about 30 head of jersey cows on his farm on the Ludlow Road in Houlton in the late 1800’s. The family carried the business on until the late 1930’s. The Mooers delivered milk and cream to two local grocery stores: The Riley Brothers and Robinson’s, and about 50 residential customers in the Houlton area.
