Description

Created by Beck & Pauli lithographers and published by J.J. Stoner of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a bird's eye view of modern-day Westbrook entitled "Panorama of Saccarappa and Cumberland Mills, looking north" prominently features the Presumpscot River and parts of the Cumberland & Oxford Canal.

Two railroad lines are highlighted, the Portland & Ogdendsburg and the Portland and Rochester, along with the Cumberland and Presumpscot Paper Mill, Union Depot, Brown's Hall, Warren's Hall, Portland Packing Company, Westbrook Manufacturing, and a Cotton Mill operated by W.K. Dana. The legend draws attention to the local school house, as well as the Congregationalist, Methodist, Universalist, and Catholic churches. The legend specifically highlights the Warren Congregational Church.
