Bowdoin College varsity crew team, Brunswick, 1885

The varsity crew team at Bowdoin College won at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. They defeated such championship schools as Colgate, University of Pennsylvania and Brown. It was the first intercollegiate regatta victory for Bowdoin.

Members of the team are Frank Brown, Frank Davis, Frank Alexander, Frank Whittier.
