Cow Moose Has Broken Thru the Ice, Skowhegan, ca. 1920

"This picture, with the other three on this page, constitutes an unusual group. We have a cow moose which has broken though the ice and has evidently spent some hours in a fruitless effort to escape. it is known that Skowhegan people were concerned in the incident, but at present we are unable to say where it occurred.
