Elizabeth Wadsworth (1779-1802) wrote to her father, Peleg Wadsworth (1748-1829) about her happiness of obtaining a lock of George Washington's hair from Mrs. Martha Washington, and her gratitude to own such a relic. This is one of a series of letters about the hair relic.
