Description

Benedict Arnold served in the American Revolution as General, conducting a grueling march through the woods of Maine north to Quebec. He later went on to flee America on board the British ship, Vulture, and became a colonel in the British Army. He died in England in 1801. There are no contemporary portraits of Benedict Arnold, though artists' imaginative renderings are available, such as this one.
