Description

B&S RR car #31 rode on this unique style of truck manufactured by the J. G. Brill Company, Philadelphia, PA, in which the majority of the car weight is placed on the larger motor driven wheels and the smaller wheel set turned the truck as it rounded curves. This arrangement allowed cars to become longer with only two driven axles and to have increased adhesion to the rails.
