Description
Thomas Sinclair drew two views of the Confederate prison at Andersonville, Georgia, based on sketches by John Burns Walker of Co. G of the 141st Pennsylvania Regiment.
The left side, shown here, represents 33,000 Union soldiers imprisoned during the summer of 1864.
The right side (click "Other views") shows the prison area of 26 acres, 5 of which was uninhabitable swamp.
