Description
This photograph of the Westbrook trolley #175 on the west end of Main Street in Westbrook was taken around 1930.
The Westbrook Trolley Line opened on June 29, 1892 and continued to run from Preble Street in Portland to Westbrook every 30 minutes, until trolleys were replaced by gas-powered buses.
The last run of the Westbrook Trolley line was April 20, 1941.
