Description

The owners of Lewiston's many textile mills constructed blocks of housing for their workers. These brick buildings, which stood on the Canal Street block between Cedar and Pine Streets, are no longer in existence. More spacious duplexes and singe-family homes were also built for supervisors at the factories.
