South Bristol's First Three Selectmen, 1915

Description

The three men pictured in this image are (left to right) Wilbur Bearce, Frank Wells and Robert H. Woodward, the first three selectmen to serve the new town, elected at its first Town Meeting on December 15, 1915. The photomontage was given to the town by Samuel A. Miles at the celebration held on August 30 to honor the new town and now hangs in the meeting room of Town Hall.
