Launching of "Florence" at South Bristol in 1894

Clifford Gamage built Florence in his South Bristol boat shop in 1894. This image shows the Florence being launched into the western Gut just north of the narrow passage of water that runs from Johns Bay on the east through South Bristol to the Damariscotta River on the west.
