Description

This is a photograph of one of the two carved gates at the entrance of Thuya Garden in Northeast Harbor. The gates were designed by Charles K. Savage in 1959. He carved the center of the gates with the lattering and his cousin, Augustus Phillips, carved each panel and assembled the gates.

The text on the gate reads "Thuya Garden."
