Victoria Mansion, Portland, ca. 1900
Located on 109 Danforth Street, the Victoria Mansion was built from 1859-1863 as a summer home for Ruggles Sylvester Morse.
This brownstone Italian villa is one of the finest surviving examples of high Victorian architecture in Portland. It is a registered National Historic Landmark and operates as a historic house museum.
The building is also known as the Morse-Libby House.
