This picture shows the Captain Lewy steamboat passing by a boom of logs in Lewy Lake or Big Lake in Princeton. The logs were impounded by using a series of boom logs connected to each other by boom chains. Big Lake and Lewy Lake lie west of the Route 1 bridge which connects Princeton with Indian Township.
