William S. Cohen of Bangor, campaigning for Congress in 1972, plays basketball outside with an unidentified person.

Cohen became known for walking several miles a day through his congressional district to meet residents and discuss their views. This appears to be a photograph taken along the route during one of Cohen's campaign walks. It is included in the photograph collection maintained by his staff for publicity purposes. Cohen served as a U.S. Representative from 1973 to 1978.
