Description

This image from the mid 1920s shows Walter Wotton and three of his employees standing in front of the store on the Jameson & Wotton Wharf. Pictured from left to right are Walter Wotton, Allie Crouse, Vergil Morton, and Dalton Wotton.

Wotton ran the store while his partner Sherman Jameson ran the waterfront, buying and selling lobsters and overseeing the steamboat trade.
