T.A.Huston & Co. invoice, 1901
Candy was a big seller at the Jameson & Wotton Co. store. This is an order for 50 lbs of mixed candy to be shipped from Auburn, Maine, via the steamboat Mineola.
The Jameson & Wotton wharf was engaged in a number of activities that served the town and nearby islands. It was a commercial dock that bought and sold lobsters and other fish, a steamboat port, and a general store.
