Description
The Egypt School, shown here ca. 1957, was located on the Spring Hill Road and moved in 1962 to Lang Road where it became a residence. Bathrooms and woodshed were an attached building so no one had to go outside. Doris Bridge and Alice Churchill, who lived close by, were remembered as teachers there. The beauty of one room school learning was if you didn't digest the material this year, you would hear it next year anyway. The building is still in use as a residence.
