South Bristol village from a distance, 1910
The photograph in this postcard was taken from north of the village of South Bristol which can be seen in the distant background. The body of water visible in the right middleground is the western "Gut" as it connects with the Damariscotta River. The poor condition of the road which later became State Route 129 is obvious.
