Trophy for the Androscoggin No. 2, Topsham, 1964

Description

This trophy was won at the fire muster at the Topsham Fairgrounds in celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the town. The trophy is inscribed "200th Anniversary Topsham Maine won by Androscoggin Bud Colby Foreman July 18, 1964."

Androscoggin No. 2 is the 1850 Hunneman hand engine used by the Androscoggin Veteran Firemen's Association for musters from 1920 until the mid 1970s. The engine won numerous muster competitions. The trophy is now on display in the Topsham Fire Department lobby.
