Description

Fred G. Milliken, freelance photographer and writer for the Atlantic Fisherman magazine wrote of this photo: "Showing north side of Huston's Cove. Largest sardine factory on coast, L.D. Clark and Son employs over 200. Large ships once built in cove. Chambers House across Cove entrance. Part of Campobello Island, New Brunswick. Huston's Cove Ward 4 South End or Sodom, Eastport, Maine."

Milliken lived in Eastport and wrote for the magazine, a trade publication relating to commercial fishing in New England.
