Hallowell hand pumper "Tiger" postcard, 1936

This postcard features an illustration of the City of Hallowell's historic hand pumper fire engine, "Tiger," which was built in 1836 by the Hunneman Company (engine #176). It had a 15 15/16" piston diameter and was used in fire muster competitions after being retired from service.
