Description

The 1971 World Cup skiing competition held at Sugarloaf Ski Area was a very high profile event for the State of Maine. A joint resolution of the Maine State Legislature was published citing the significance of the event and was signed by both the Speaker of the House David Kennedy and the President of the Senate Kenneth MacLeod.
