Description
Frank Swan built a summer camp on Lake Wesserunsett that he and his sister, Deborah Swan Fellows, her husband, James Fellows, and their daughter, Mary Elise Fellows, also used. The extended family also lived together in Skowhegan.
Elise Fellows White wrote on the back of the photo: "Open air kitchen of Swan-Fellows camp. The original 'Red Shed' in which the Fellows family and 'Uncle Frank Swan' camped out for years, before the cottage was built in 1901-2. This dates from about 1886-7. Tents were used for sleeping rooms."
