Description
This dispatch concerns the sending of British troops to the Penobscot River in order to protect British interests from the colonists there and to erect Fort George. The letter is a transcribed copy made between 1894 and 1902 from British archival collections for Joseph Williamson, a lawyer and historian in Belfast.
