Description
This modern blue and white glass wampum bracelet replicates 17th and 18th century ornament and treaty belt weaving techniques. 18th century belts could have over 2000 beads. These beads disappeared along with the fur trade by the mid 19th century. Glass wampum was mainly made in Holland but were occasionally made in England and France.
