Description
This dark wood spun fife has seven holes in all. There are brass bands at both ends. It was once the property of T.N. Coit. Written on the remains of a provenance label: "One Fife, which was th[e] property of C.N. COIT while he wa[s] in Libby Prison. 1863, and here changed it with M.M. Seay, Co. "(obliterated).
