Humorous Victorian family scene, Lubec, 1898

Description

This very Victorian interior, fortunately bearing a date, is labelled, “You & Clara (who?), Etta, Annie Gus Bertha Mahlman,” the latter farthest right. Ms. Mahlman, unmarried member of the long-time Lubec family including Dr. Robert Mahlman, worked as an insurance agent and also was organist of the Congregational Church for many years starting in 1912.
