Flood, Winslow, ca. 1936

Contributed by Winslow Historical Preservation Committee

The image, showing the flood of 1936, may have been taken from the Augusta Road (Route 201) looking north toward the railroad trestle on the left of the white building, and the pedestrian bridge to the right. Lithgow Street is behind the white building.

This location just east of the junction of the Kennebec River and the Sebasticook River.
