Biddeford High School, 1888

Description

Postcard image of the new Biddeford High School as it was known when first built in 1888. The building was to replace the Washington Street School thet became too small to accommedate the large number of students attending the Biddeford city schools. The school was closed in the early 1960s when another new high school was built.
