Castine is a Maine seacoast village sitting along the area where the Penobscot River enters the Atlantic Ocean.

This half-toned photo-etched illustration comes from the book 'Pine Tree Coast' by Samuel Adams Drake, published in Boston by Estes and Laurent in 1891 (page 273).
