Street realignment, Lubec, 1962

Description

Construction of the Campobello Roosevelt International Bridge required some realignment of Washington, Pleasant, and Water Streets in Lubec. The bridge, named for Franklin D. Roosevelt who had a vacation compound on Campobello Island, connected the island and Lubec crossing the "Narrows" in Passamaquoddy Bay and was completed in 1962.
