Description
The Portland Company issued Christmas cards showing 1880s vintage locomotives that the company had built.
This card reads, "Built for the Grand Trunk Railway in 1867 by the Portland Company, Portland, Maine." The reverse of this Christmas card reads, "Pl. 78 Gift of the Portland Company, Portland, Maine, Dec. 19, 1963."
