Description

The Ross and Butler Hardware and Paints store and its patrons in Springvale in the 1890s.

"Going downtown" often provided an opportunity to combine business with informal socializing. The proprietors of the Ross and Butler Hardware and Paints store are shown standing with potential patrons.
