Alice Witham wedding hat, Scarborough, 1892

Alice H. Witham of Portland, the daughter of Ira Witham (ca. 1832-1877) and Maria Libby Witham (1833-1881) married Samuel D. Plummer of Scarborough, on August 1, 1892.

She wore the putty-colored hat of ribbed fabric and velvet at their wedding.

The couple had two children, Phillip and Dorothy.
