Thomas Quinby watch fob, ca. 1850

Thomas Quinby (1813-1885) of the Stroudwater section of Portland owned this watch fob that shows the Quinby family crest. Quinby, a civil engineer, was superintendent of the Portland and Rochester Railroad and managing agent of the Saco Water Power Co.
