Eighteen men, probably employees of A.H. Benoit & Co., pose wearing fashionable suits and hats.
The photo was taken outside the Portland store on Middle Street.
Benoits sold men's and boys' clothing with stores in Portland, Lewiston, Brunswick, Biddeford, Westbrook and other locations.
