Description
Helen M. Sanderson of East Waterford graduated from the Central Maine Hospital School of Nursing in about 1906.
She worked as a nurse in Belfast, the Maine State Sanatorium in Hebron (where she also had been a patient), Brattleboro, Vt., New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Hartford, Conn., during World War II. She also ran a summer camp for girls, Camp McWain, in East Waterford.
