Description
Mary King Longfellow (1852-1945) of Portland, daughter of Alexander Wadsworth Longfellow and Elizabeth Porter Longfellow, wrote a note to her aunt, Anne Longfellow Pierce, that accompanied several small photographs.
Mary King Longfellow was an accomplished artist, painting mostly watercolors.
The note reads, "With the regards of Mary King Longfellow, Dec. 1896."
